Heal & Evolve: Weekly Journal Inspirations - Week 1: Dream

Updated: Jul 23

Hello Everyone! Welcome to my new weekly blog series, Heal & Evolve: Weekly Inspirations! Each week, I will introduce a journal prompt for your healing journey.

Since this is our first journal prompt, I thought it would be fun to dream and use our imagination to envision how our lives could be. Our imagination fuels our creativity - like the gas in a hot air balloon that lifts high in the sky. We often use our creativity to imagine the worst-case scenario and use those visions as a reason to worry, but we can also use it to dream and paint the life we would love to live.

So get out your favorite journal, and let's do this! Your journal is your safe place to express anything - from the things you feel are totally ridiculous to verbalize to another person to your deepest darkest thoughts. Make sure you keep your journal in a safe place. This will kick start creating a safe sanctuary for your healing journey.

This week's topic is this...

Imagine all the restrictions you have in your life are gone, and you no longer need to do something out of responsibility or obligation. If you were to live a life only to pursue your passions and dreams, what would your life look like?

Be creative and have fun with this prompt! I invite you to go into as much detail as possible. Now that you are pursuing your passions and dreams 24/7, how would you start a day? Where would you live? What do you do in a day? How would you feel?

If you cannot think of any passion or dreams at this moment, think of how you would feel if you had one, or what your life would be like if finding passions and dreams were your no.1 goal.

Remember, no one is going to read it but you. There is no limit to what you can say or imagine. This is just a fun little exercise to use our imagination. Just because you wrote it doesn't mean you must do any of them. So, think of the most outrageous, crazy epic version of your life.

Happy Journaling!

Noriko
