Introducing a new Meditation Class!!
Are you looking for a respite from your busy life? Let's spend one hour in total relaxation and get in touch with our hearts. This class is open to all teens and adults (16+) who could benefit from a guided meditation in an open, non-judgemental environment.
The class starts with an introductory talk followed by 20-30 minutes of guided meditation and a Q&A session.
For your maximum comfort in class, the following items are recommended:
thick yoga mat (for meditating lying down)
personal sized blanket
bottle of water (or any cleansing drink of your choice)
No Experience Necessary
This class is for everyone who is ready to listen to their heart. No prior meditation practice experience is needed. The class consists of guided meditation with occasional moments of silence.
This is free-flow meditation designed to help you relax and connect with your heart. We'll be sitting in a comfortable chair or lying down. No need to maintain any classic meditation posture.
The class will be small and intimate, up to 8 students total. Bring your yoga mat, favorite pillow, and personal-sized blanket! A chair will be provided for those who choose to meditate sitting down.
I will leave plenty of time to take questions before and after meditation. The guided meditation theme will be based on the attendees' interests of the day.
For those of you who would like to participate from the comfort of your house, an online class is available! Join me on Wednesdays from 8-9 pm (Central Time). Recordings are available for those who cannot make it live.

But Wait...Why are you teaching meditation?
You might be wondering why an art teacher is teaching a meditation class. Meditation and doing inner work happen to be just another passion of my life.
I have been meditating every day since August 2018. In August of 2021, I took on a challenge to meditate at least four hours a day, every day. What started out as a 30-day challenge turned into a 180-day marathon of deep, immersive meditations.
Over the course of 6 months where I meditated for 4+ hours a day, I learned a lot about myself, healed a lot of my past traumas, and transformed life in pretty much every aspect. What people call "enlightenment" is available and accessible to all of us, and healing is possible for everyone!
