    Get in-depth advice across multiple aspects of your piece.

Frequestly Asked Questions

  • You can send:

    • A brand-new piece, a work-in-progress, or a nearly finished project

    • A completed piece for final polish and critique

    • A group of pieces (up to 5) for portfolio review
      💡 Tip: If your project isn’t finished, please include the reference photo so I can give you more precise feedback.

  • I usually reply within 2 business days, but please allow up to 3–5 business days just in case.
    If I’m traveling or expect a delay, I’ll let you know.

  • Yes—if anything is unclear, just reply to my email and I’ll clarify!
    If you have new questions or want additional feedback on the same piece later on, you can book another Basic Art Guidance session.

  • Only if:

    • You’re requesting a portfolio review, or

    • Your question involves multiple artworks.
      Otherwise, please stick to one artwork per submission for best results.

  • Basic Art Guidance includes written feedback only via email.
    If you’re looking for a step-by-step visual guide, direct markup, or more hands-on instruction, I recommend booking an In-Depth Art Guidance session instead.

  • Without the add-on, expect about a paragraph of focused feedback.
    👉 The more specific your question, the more specific my answer will be!
    If you ask something general like “What do you think?”, I’ll respond in kind. But if you ask, “Should I push the shadows more in the hair? Are the transitions smooth enough?”, I can give you much more actionable advice.
