Your Vision +

My ART

Let the Magic Unfold

Commission your own custom piece—bringing your cherished memory to life and transforming your vision into timeless art.

Every commission I create begins with your story

whether it’s a beloved pet, a meaningful moment, or a soulful vision you’ve been carrying in your heart. Through the lens of skilled craftsmanship and intuitive artistry, I translate that story into a visual piece that honors its essence. This is more than a drawing—it’s a tangible tribute to your memory, brought to life with deliberate detail, emotional depth, and artistic care.

What to Expect When You Commission Custom Art from Me

Here’s how the process works—
simple, collaborative, and personal every step of the way:

Step 1:
Submit the Custom Art Form

You'll start by filling out a form to tell me about your vision. I’ll ask for:

  • Your contact info

  • What you'd like me to create (pet portrait, human portrait, or other subjects)

  • How many subjects will be in the piece

  • A reference photo (or multiple if needed)

  • What makes this piece meaningful—Is it a gift? Who are the subjects to you? I love hearing the story behind the art!

  • Your budget (if you have one—I’m happy to work with you to create something special within it)

  • Desired artwork size

  • Whether you'll pick up the artwork in person or need it shipped

  • If you'd like me to handle framing (framing is an optional, additional cost)

Note: I highly recommend having your colored pencil artwork matted and framed. Whether I frame it for you or you choose to frame it yourself, please keep in mind that the final display size will be larger than the artwork itself.

For example, an 8x10” piece typically goes into an 11x14” mat, and once framed, the overall dimensions are usually around 13x16” or more.

Step 2:
Review & Response

I’ll review your request and typically get back to you within 2–3 business days. If I need more detail (like clearer references, eye/hair color, etc.), I’ll let you know.

Step 3:
Quote & Timeline

Once we’ve clarified everything, I’ll send you a quote and estimated timeline.

Note: A simple portrait usually takes a minimum of 2–3 weeks to complete (when there’s no waitlist), so please plan ahead if you're ordering for a birthday, holiday, or special occasion.

If you’d like your artwork to be completed before Christmas, I recommend placing your order by the end of September to ensure timely delivery.

Step 4:
Confirmation & First Payment

When you’re ready to proceed, I’ll send an invoice. Payment is typically split into two parts:

  • 50% upfront to secure your spot and begin the project

  • The remaining 50% (plus optional framing cost) is due when your artwork is complete

Step 5:
Creation Time!

Now the magic happens. I’ll create your custom piece with precision, care, and intention. I’ll let you know once it’s ready!

Step 6:
Framing & Shipping (Optional)

If you’ve opted for framing, I’ll send you frame options and pricing. Once you choose, I’ll complete the final touches.

Note: If you’re having your art shipped, I recommend not framing, as it makes packaging more complicated and shipping costs significantly higher.

Step 7:
Enjoy Your One-of-a-Kind Art!

Whether you hang it on your wall or give it as a heartfelt gift, your custom artwork is a forever keepsake—created just for you.

Frequestly Asked Questions

Got questions? You’re not alone! Here are some answers to the most common things people ask before commissioning a custom piece—from timelines to shipping to what kind of photo works best.

  • I specialize in colored pencil portraits (pets & people), architecture, still life, landscapes, and meaningful moments with a blend of soulful storytelling and technical precision. I also offer graphite pencil or black-and-white colored pencil options.

Curious about something beyond portraits? I’m open to digital art and commercial commissions as well. I’ve created artwork for board games, book covers, and oracle card decks—so if you have a project in mind, don’t hesitate to reach out!

  • Absolutely! Feel free to send it via the form or email, and I’ll let you know if it works—or if I need a better reference. I sometimes ask for extra images to get a better sense of eye color, hair texture, or facial features. A clear, high-resolution image always leads to the best result.

Tip: If your favorite photo is a bit blurry, send it along with a clearer photo taken around the same time.

  •  A simple portrait takes a minimum of 2–3 weeks, depending on my current waitlist. Colored pencil work is time-intensive, so I do not accept rush orders.

Planning ahead is key—especially for birthdays, anniversaries, or holidays.
🎄 If you want your artwork completed before Christmas, please place your order by the end of September.

  • Yes—I understand that art is an investment. Let me know your budget, and I’ll do my best to create something meaningful that fits your range. I’ll be transparent if your budget won’t align with your vision, and we can explore options together.

  •  That’s totally doable! Just include this in your form. Additional subjects require more time and detail, so the price and size will increase accordingly. I’ll guide you to the best size to ensure everyone shines.

  • No worries! Just tell me a little about the space where you plan to hang your piece and what kind of impact you’d like it to have. I can guide you toward the right size based on your space and your budget.

  • When I create custom art, I give 100%—my skill, passion, and presence. Offering discounts means I’d have to compromise on quality or time, and that’s not something I do.

If you’re looking for something more affordable, I recommend browsing my prints and reproductions of past work, or consider commissioning a smaller piece.

  • Yes! I offer custom matting and framing for an additional cost. If you prefer to frame the artwork yourself, you can purchase just the mat from me, or handle it fully on your own.

Whichever route you choose, I strongly recommend using acid-free matting and backing to protect your artwork for years to come.

  •  Yes, I can ship anywhere in the U.S., and possibly internationally (just ask first!). If you’re ordering internationally, you're responsible for any customs fees.

Note: I don’t recommend shipping framed artwork due to its weight, fragility, and high shipping costs. Unframed pieces ship much more safely and affordably.

  • Custom art is deeply personal, and I pour time and care into every piece. Because of the nature of commissioned work, all sales are final and non-refundable once the project has started.

You’ll have a chance to review the piece before I apply the final UV-protective coating. Up to two small adjustments are included in the price. Please make sure you love my art style and have a clear vision before we begin.

  • Once the drawing process begins, major changes are difficult (and may require starting over). That’s why we confirm all details up front. If you need a big change after I’ve started, it may be treated as a new project.

  • If you’d like a digital artwork, I can create one for you!

If you commission a traditional piece (colored pencil or graphite), I can also offer high-quality reproductions (like posters, canvas prints, or greeting cards).

Nore: The digital version of a commissioned traditional piece is copyrighted to me, and is provided for personal use only. Please don’t reproduce, sell, or distribute it without my written permission. Commercial licensing is available if needed.
