Cancellation Policy

By registering for a class at Tanigawa Studio, you agree to the following booking policies: Class Registration & Payment All classes require advance registration—no walk-ins, please. You may book a single 2-hour session for $38 or purchase a 4-session package for $132 ($33 per class), valid for two months. Open enrollment allows flexibility without a semester commitment or registration fee. Please note: No refunds or credits are offered for open session purchases. Monthly tuition is due on the first day of the month, even if you are absent. Payments must be submitted via the class scheduling site. If you prefer to pay by check or cash, please email at least 48 hours in advance. Late payments incur a $10 late fee and may result in forfeiture of your seat. Partial payments are not accepted. Missed Classes & Make-Ups If you need to miss a class, notify Noriko by the last Monday of the month to explore a tuition adjustment or makeup option. For last-minute reschedules, please give at least 48 hours’ notice. Makeup credits are valid for 30 days. In case of emergency or illness, reach out as early as possible before class starts. ⚠️ Make-up classes must be prearranged by email. Walk-ins will not be accepted. No-call/no-shows or messages received during/after class are not eligible for makeup or credit. Refunds & Cancellations No refunds are issued for classes or commissioned artwork. In the rare case that Noriko must cancel a class, you will be notified as early as possible and your tuition will be prorated. Refunds for art reproductions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please note: All processing fees (approx. 4%) are non-refundable. Weather & Safety In the event of inclement weather, class updates will be shared via email or text at least 2 hours prior. Use your best judgment and communicate if travel is unsafe. Class Conduct To maintain a respectful, creative space for students ages 10+, all participants are expected to follow studio guidelines. Inappropriate conversation, disruptive device use, or unpreparedness may affect your ability to fully participate. By checking the box, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these booking terms.
